Assembly Procedure

1. All of the parts must be clean, free of dirt and free of foreign material. Put clean hydraulic oil on all of the parts during assembly. Check the condition of all O-ring seals. If any of the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

2. Install the O-ring seal, cover (19) and bolts (18) to the valve body.

3. Install valve (15) and spring (16) in the valve body. Put O-ring seal (17) on plug (14) .

4. Install plug (14) in the valve body.

5. Install O-ring seal (13) on plug (10). Install valve (11) and spring (12) in the valve body.

6. Install plug (10) in the valve body.

7. Put retainer (7), spring (8), retainer (7), washers (6) and bolt (5) on the end of valve stem (9). Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 55 ± 7 N·m (40 ± 5 lb ft).

8. Install valve assemblies (4) in the valve body.

9. Install O-ring seals (3) in housing (2) .

10. Install housings (2) and bolts (1) to the valve body.

End By: Install the ripper control valve.
