Start By:
- Remove the ripper tilt cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Tilt Cylinder -Remove and Install".
- Remove the ripper carriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Carriage (Beam) - Remove and Install".
Note: Tooling (A) is positioned under the ripper frame during the removal of the ripper carriage.
- Remove clamps (1), (2), and (3) that hold the hose assemblies to the ripper frame assembly.

- Attach Tooling (E) to transmission guard (4). Remove bolts (5) and remove the transmission guard. The weight of transmission guard (4) is approximately 400 kg (880 lb).

- Attach Tooling (D) to ripper frame (6), as shown.

- Remove bolts (8) and retainer (9) from pins (7) .

- Install Tooling (B) to pins (7). Remove pins (7) and the shims.

- Remove ripper frame (6) from the machine. The weight of ripper frame (6) is approximately 2869 kg (6,320 lb).
Installation Procedure
- Install ripper frame (6) to the machine. The weight of ripper frame (6) is approximately 2869 kg (6,320 lb).

- Install the shims and install pins (7) .
- Install retainer (9) and bolts (8) to pins (7) .

- Remove Tooling (D) from ripper frame (6) .

- Install transmission guard (4) and bolts (5). The weight of transmission guard (4) is approximately 400 kg (880 lb). Remove Tooling (E) from the transmission guard.

End By:
