Ripper Control Valve - Install

Usage:

D11R 7PZ

Installation Procedure

  1. Check the condition of all the O-ring seals that are used in the hose assemblies and connected to the ripper control valve. If any of the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, replace the O-ring seals with new O-ring seals.

  1. Fasten straps and a suitable lifting device to the ripper control valve. Put the ripper control valve in position in the machine. Install three washers and bolts (9) that hold the valve.

    NOTICE

    Be sure all hose assemblies for the ripper control valve are connected at their original locations on the valve.


  1. Connect five hose assemblies (8) to the ripper control valve.

  1. Connect three hose assemblies (7) to the ripper control valve.

    Note: One hose assembly is not shown.

  1. Position hose assembly (6). Install bolts and washers (5) that hold the ripper control valve.

  1. Connect hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the ripper control valve.

  1. Connect four hydraulic hoses (2) to ripper control valve (1) .

  1. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level.

Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for all fluid capacities and the proper filling procedures.
