615C Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper Wheel Tractor Power Train Caterpillar

Installation Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Use two persons to position track arm (6). Install pin (13). Position bar (15) and install two bolts (14). Position washer (12) and install three bolts (11) .

3. Install pin (10) into axle housing (9) .

   Note: The axle housing may need to be lifted in order to install the pin.

4. Position washer (8) and install three bolts (7) into axle housing (9) .

5. Position bar (3) and install two bolts (2). Connect hose assemblies (4) and (5) to track arm (6) .

6. Lower the machine and remove two jacks (1) .
