Pilot Control Valve - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the pilot control valve.

  1. Remove bolts (5). Separate valve body (1), bulldozer tilt control valve (4), ripper lift control valve (2), ripper tilt control valve (3) and manifold (6) .

    Note: The bulldozer tilt control valve, the ripper lift control valve and the ripper tilt control valve are disassembled in the same way. Follow steps 2 through 7 in order to disassemble the control valves.

  1. Remove three O-ring seals (8) and three O-ring seals (9) from the valve body.

  1. Remove housing (7) from the valve stem and the valve body.

  1. Remove O-ring seal (10) and seal (11) from housing (7) .

  1. Remove housing (12) from the valve body. Remove the O-ring seal from housing (12) .

  1. Remove valve stem (13) from the valve body.

  1. Remove retainer (16), spring (15) and retainer (14) from the end of valve stem (13). If necessary, remove plug (17) and the O-ring seal from the end of valve stem (13). Remove plug (17) and the O-ring seal from the valve stems of the ripper tilt control valve and the ripper lift control valve.

  1. Remove plug (18) and the O-ring seal from valve body (1) .

  1. Remove spring (20) and valve stem (19) from valve body (1) .
