Usage:
1. Loosen two clamps (3) and slide the hose off breather cap (2). Remove bolt (1), breather cap (2), and O-ring seal from valve cover (5).
2. Remove all bolts (4), valve cover (5), and the gasket from the cylinder head.
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the valve cover.
3. Install a new gasket on the valve cover if needed. Put 5H-2471 Cement on the contact surfaces of the valve cover and top side of the gasket when a new gasket is installed.
4. Put valve cover (5) in position on the cylinder head and install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) in the numbered sequence shown to a torque of 11 ± 3 N·m (8 ± 2 lb ft).
5. Put the O-ring seal and breather cap (2) in position. Install bolt (1) and tighten to a torque of 14 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb ft).
6. Slide the hose into position on the breather cap and tighten two clamps (3).
