Start By:
- Remove the wheel saw drum. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Wheel Saw Drum - Remove and Install".

- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (1) .

- Remove grease fitting (2) .

- Use Tooling (B) with pressure air at 310 kPa (45 psi) in order to remove cover assembly (3). Remove the O-ring seal from cover assembly (3) .

- Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (4) .

- Remove spacer (5) .

- Remove housing assembly (6) .
- Use Tooling (D) and a press in order to remove bearing (7). Remove shaft seal (8) .

Installation Procedure

Note: Inspect all O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

- Install shaft seal (8) in housing assembly (6) .

- Install spacer (5) in housing assembly (6) .

- Install the O-ring seal on cover (3). Install cover (3) in housing assembly (6) .
