Assembly Procedure

Note: Inspect all O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Install piston (21) in cartridge assembly (20) .

  1. Install O-ring seal (19) on cartridge assembly (20) and install the cartridge assembly. Tighten cartridge assembly (20) to a torque of 26 ± 1 N·m (19 ± 1 lb ft).

  1. Install solenoid (18) and O-ring seal (17) .

  1. Install cap (16). Tighten the cap to a torque of 8 ± 1 N·m (6 ± 1 lb ft).

  1. Install spool (15) .

  1. Install spring (14) .

  1. Install plug (13) .

  1. Install connectors (11) and (12) .

  1. Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for the remaining diverter valve group.

  1. Assemble the O-ring seals and diverter valve groups (10) and install bolts (9) .

  1. Install connectors (8) .

  1. Install connectors (6) and manifold (7) .

  1. Install spool (5) .

  1. Install the housing (4) for the cartridge assembly.

  1. Install plug (3) .

  1. Install spring (2) .

  1. Install plug (1) in the cartridge assembly.

  1. Repeat Steps 13 through 17 for the remaining cartridge assembly.
