Glow Plugs
Usage:
Remove Glow Plugs
preparatory step:
a) remove valve covers
1. Disconnect wiring (1) from glow plug.
2. Remove the glow plug (2) from precombustion chamber.
Install Glow Plugs
1. Coat the threads of glow plug with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.
2. Install the glow plug in precombustion chamber and tighten plug to 120 ± 24 lb. in. (138,4 ± 27,7 cm.kg).
3. Connect wiring to glow plug.
concluding step:
a) install valve cover
Remove Precombustion Chambers
preparatory steps:
a) remove fuel injection valves
b) remove glow plugs
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Using wrench (A), remove the precombustion chamber. Remove precombustion chamber gasket.
