1. Remove the exhaust manifold-to-elbow retaining bolts and nuts (1).

2. Remove the exhaust manifold retaining nuts, locks and washers.

3. Remove the exhaust manifold - weight 40 lbs. (18 kg).

4. Remove the exhaust manifold gaskets.

Install Exhaust Manifolds

1. Coat the threads of the exhaust manifold retaining studs with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.

2. Install new exhaust manifold gaskets.

3. Position the exhaust manifold on engine and install the retaining nuts, washers and locks.

4. Coat the threads of exhaust manifold-to-elbow retaining bolts with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.

5. Install manifold-to-elbow gasket, retaining nuts, and bolts.
