Turbochargers

Usage:

Remove Turbochargers

preparatory step:

a) remove air cleaner housings

1. Remove the turbocharger oil drain line (1).

2. Remove the turbocharger lubrication line (2).

3. Disconnect equalizer line from turbocharger air outlet line. Remove the air outlet line-to-aftercooler housing retaining bolts and clamps. Remove the air inlet line-to-turbocharger retaining bolt and washer.

4. Remove the four turbocharger mounting bolts and nuts.

5. Rotate the turbocharger away from exhaust pipe.

6. Remove the turbocharger from engine.

Install Turbochargers

1. Position the turbocharger on air outlet line, and rotate the turbocharger into place.

2. Coat the threads of the turbocharger retaining bolts with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound. Install the retaining bolts and nuts. Tighten the nuts to 40±4 lb. ft. (5,5±0,55 mkg).

3. Install the air outlet line-to-aftercooler housing retaining bolts and clamps. Install the air outlet line-to-turbocharger retaining bolt and washer. Connect equalizer line to air outlet line.

4. Install the turbocharger lubrication line.

5. Install the turbocharger oil drain line.
