Diesel engine exhaust contains products of combustion which may cause personal injury. Always start and operate the engine in a well ventilated area, and, if in an enclosed area, vent the exhaust to the outside. |

- Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.
- Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

- Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
- Use throttle control switch (3) in order to operate the engine in low idle.

- Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.

- Remove water filter element (5). Check the water filter element for foreign materials. Clean or replace the water filter element, if necessary.

- Fill the water tank.
- Remove hose (6) from the spray bar.

- Position hose (6) in Tool (A) .
- Move engine start switch (4) to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
- Press water spray switch (7) in order to activate the water spray system.

- Operate the water spray system for 1 minute.
- Place water spray switch (7) in the OFF position.
- Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
- Measure the amount of water in Tool (A) .
- If the amount of water in Tool (A) is less than 8 L (2.1 US gal), repair or replace the water pump.
- Connect hose (6) to the water spray bar.
