Spray Nozzle - Adjust
Pressurized System
Note: The water tank must contain water in order to perform this test.
- Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.
- Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

- Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
- Use throttle control switch (3) in order to operate the engine in low idle.

- Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.

- Fill the water tank.
- Move engine start switch (4) to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
- Press water spray switch (5) in order to activate the water spray system.

- Examine the spray pattern on each tire. The spray stream should hit the tire, and the spray should cover the entire width of the tire.
- If the spray does not cover the entire tire, rotate spray nozzle tip (6). Adjust the nozzle in order to attain the desired radial spray pattern. If necessary, remove and clean the nozzle.
Note: The spray system is adjusted correctly when the water spray covers 100 percent of the tire, parallel to the spray bar.

- Press water spray switch (5) in order to shut off the water spray system.
- Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
- If necessary, repeat Step 6 through Step 12 for the other water spray bar.

Diesel engine exhaust contains products of combustion which may cause personal injury. Always start and operate the engine in a well ventilated area, and, if in an enclosed area, vent the exhaust to the outside. |

- Fill the water tank.
- Move engine start switch (4) to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
- Pull water spray handle (5) in order to open the water valve.

- Examine the drip pattern. The water should drip from each orifice (6) along the spray bar. Water should eventually cover the entire width of each tire.

- Clean any plugged orifice (6). If necessary, use a soft wire in order to clear obstructions from the orifice.
- Press water spray handle (5) in order to close the water valve.
- Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
- If necessary, repeat Step 6 through Step 12 for the other water spray bar.
