1. Install bracket assembly (30).

2. Use Tooling (C), Tooling (D), Tooling (E), and suitable lifting devices to position rear axle, differential, and final drive (22). The weight of rear axle, differential, and final drive (22) is approximately 1090 kg (2400 lb).

3. Apply Tooling (F) onto bolts (29) and four bolts (28) (not shown). Install bolts (29) and bolts (28).

4. Apply Tooling (F) onto bolts (25). Install bolts (25). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

5. Tighten bolts (25), bolts (28), and bolts (29) to a torque of 200 N·m (148 lb ft) in the sequence that is shown. Tighten bolts (25), bolts (28), and bolts (29) again to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (664 ± 74 lb ft).

6. Position bracket assembly (26) and install bolts (27).

7. Position plate (24) and install bolts (23). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

8. Connect harness assembly (21). Connect harness assembly (20).

9. Install panel (19). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

10. Connect hose assembly (18).

11. Install tube assembly (16). Install hose (17). Connect hose (14). Connect hose assembly (15). Install tube assembly (13).

12. Install O-ring seal (12). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

13. Use Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and suitable lifting devices to install tandem assembly (9) and wheel assemblies (10). The combined weight of tandem assembly (9) and wheel assemblies (10) is approximately 1180 kg (2600 lb).

14. Install bolts (11).

15. Position plate (5) and install bolts (6). Position plate assemblies (8) and install bolts (7).

16. Position tube assembly (4) and install bolts (3). Connect hose assembly (2).

17. Install guard (1). Repeat this step for the remaining guard.

18. Repeat Steps 12 through 17 for the opposite side of the machine.

19. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission and Differential Oil - Change". Fill the rear axle with oil.

End By:

1. Install the differential lock valve .

2. Install the drive chains.

3. Separate the steering frame lock.
