6. Review the provided information for diagnostic purposes. 记录的代码的详细信息将显示以下项目：

4. From the "File" menu, choose "Select ECM". Choose the desired ECM to view the diagnostic codes associated with that ECM.

6. Review the code list. 激活的诊断信息包括部件识别符（CID）、故障模式识别符（FMI）和故障的文字描述。 The logged diagnostic code screen includes the CID, FMI, and a text description of the code. In addition, the logged diagnostic data includes the number of occurrences, and the first and last time the problem has occurred.

   注: 诊断信息记录在非易失性存储器中。 When the machine is powered up, the ECM clears any diagnostic trouble codes that have not been detected or active within the last 150 hours of machine operation.

7. After the diagnostic trouble codes have been determined using Cat ET, refer to "Diagnostic Trouble Codes" in this manual. Find the code in the list to see which test procedure to use to diagnose the failure.

8. 下述步骤可能会导致记录新的故障诊断代码。 因此，执行任何步骤之前，先列出所有现行故障诊断代码，以确定系统有无故障。 Clear the diagnostic trouble codes that were caused by the procedure when finished.

   注: Before performing a procedure, always check all circuit breakers and fuses. Repair the cause of any tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.
