A new air conditioner relay is now available. The new air conditioner relay will extend the life of the air conditioner compressor clutch.
The new air conditioner relay is adaptable to the machines listed above.
Refer to the following procedure in order to determine if a new air conditioner relay is required.
Procedure to Check the Voltage Supply at 3E-1906 Refrigerant Compressor Gp
- Park the machine in a smooth level area.
- Engage the parking brake and stop the engine.
- Turn the key start switch to the ON position.
- Turn 186-8221 Knob-Fan Switch (2) to the ON position.

- If the voltage supply is less than 24V, check the wiring at 3E-1906 Refrigerant Compressor Gp (4). Refer to System Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Wiring Harness (Open Circuit) - Test" and System Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Wiring Harness (Short Circuit) - Test".
- Check that pin 3 (wire 200-BK) of the connector to ground has a resistance of less than 2 ohms.
- If the voltage supply between pin 2 (wire 513-OR) and pin 3 (wire 200-BK) of the connector remains at less than 24V, replace the relay in 213-3384 Air Conditioner Gp (1). Refer to "Procedure to Install 231-3930 Relay As ".
