Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the cab front plate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Plate (Cab Front) - Remove and Install".

2. Remove the wiper arm. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wiper Arm - Remove and Install".

1. Remove cap (1).

2. Remove nut (2) and washer (3).

3. Disconnect harness assembly (4).

4. Remove bolts (5) in order to separate cover (6) from the cab wall.

5. Remove wiper motor (7).

6. Disconnect hose (8) from the washer spout.

7. Remove cover (6).

Installation Procedure

1. Verify that all of the components of the wiper motor are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.

2. Inspect all of the components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

3. Install cover (6).

4. Connect hose (8) to the washer spout.

5. Install wiper motor (7) and cover (6) to the cab wall. Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in).

6. Connect harness assembly (4).

7. Install washer (3). Install nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 19 ± 1 N·m (168 ± 9 lb in).

8. Install cap (1).

End By:

1. Install the wiper arm. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wiper Arm - Remove and Install".

2. Install the cab front plate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Plate (Cab Front) - Remove and Install".
