Wiper Arm - Remove and Install
- Disconnect hose (2) from the washer spout.
- Open cover (3) on wiper arm (1).

- Remove three clips (13) in order to remove hose (2) from wiper arm (1).

Note: Mark the location of wiper arm (1) for installation purposes.
- Verify that the components of the wiper arm are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
- Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

Illustration 6 g00530075 - Use three clips (13) in order to install hose (2) onto wiper arm (1).
- Install the screw and washer nozzle (12) onto wiper arm (1).

Illustration 9 g01658953 Show/hide tableIllustration 10 g00522222 - Install wiper arm (1) to motor shaft (5) with nut (4). Tighten nut (4) to a torque of
23 ± 1 N·m (17 ± 0.7 lb ft) . Allow wiper arm (1) to grip motor shaft (5) for a minimum time of 30 minutes or a maximum of 4 hours. Tighten nut (4) again to a torque of23 ± 1 N·m (17 ± 0.7 lb ft) . - Connect hose (2) to the washer spout.
- Close cover (3).
