Usage:
1. Remove two bolts (1) and service meter (2).
2. If necessary, remove the two nuts and two electrical connectors from bracket (7). Remove bolts (5) if required.
3. Remove the clip and disconnect wire assembly (6). Loosen locknut (4) and remove pickup (3).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the service meter.
4. If the service meter was removed from bracket (7), connect the two electrical connections and the two nuts.
5. If wire assembly (6) was removed, install bolt (5).
6. Install pickup assembly (3). Turn until the pickup assembly is aligned with the tooth of the gear. Back out pickup assembly (3) one-half turn. Tighten locknut (4) to 45 ± 7 N·m (35 ± 5 lb ft). The clearance should be 0.55 to 0.83 mm (0.02 to 0.16 in).
7. Connect wire assembly (6) to the pickup wire assembly and install the clip.
8. If necessary, install bolt (5). Install the two electrical connectors to bracket (7) with the nuts.
9. Install service meter (2) with bolts (1).
