Carburetor

Usage:

Remove & Install Carburetor

1. Shut off the gas supply to the gas pressure regulator.

2. Disconnect tube (2) and control rod (4) from carburetor (3).

3. Remove clamp (6). For installation purposes, tighten to a torque of 12 ± 0.5 N·m (108 ± 4 lb in).

4. Remove four bolts (1) and the gasket between the carburetor and the adapter.

5. Remove four bolts (5), carburetor (3) and the gasket.

NOTE: Install in reverse order.

6. Check the linkage adjustment. See Governor Linkage Adjustment in Testing And Adjusting.

7. Turn on gas supply to the gas pressure regulator.

Disassemble & Assemble Carburetor

Start By:

a. remove carburetor

1. Remove adapter assembly (1) and the gasket from body assembly (2).

2. Remove the screws, cover (5), spring (4) and air valve assembly (3).

3. Remove four screws (6) and diaphragm (7).

4. Remove the screws and disc (10) from shaft (11).

5. Loosen the bolt and remove lever assembly (8).

6. Loosen the setscrew and remove stop assembly (9). Remove shaft (11).

7. Remove the screws and body (12).

8. Remove the bolts, and remove body assembly (13) from body (14).

NOTE: Assemble in reverse order.

a. install carburetor
