Usage:
Start By:
a. remove gas pressure regulator solenoid
1. Disconnect tube (1) from the fitting on the gas pressure regulator.
2. Remove clamps (3) from the joint assembly.
3. Remove five bolts (2) and gas pressure regulator (4).
NOTE: Install in reverse order, tightening clamp (3) to a torque of 12 ± 0.5 N·m (108 ± 4 lb in).
End By:
a. install gas pressure regulator solenoid.
Disassemble & Assemble Gas Pressure Regulator
Start By:
a. remove gas pressure regulator
1. Remove the bolts and fitting (1).
2. Remove O-ring seal (2) and orifice (3).
3. Remove the bolts holding the regulator assembly together.
4. Remove cover assembly (4), seat (5), spring (6), seat (7) and diaphragm assembly (8) from regulator body (9).
5. Remove the two screws, the pin, lever (10), stem assembly (11) and holder assembly (12).
6. Remove bolt (13), two heads (14), the head gasket and the pusher post from diaphragm (15).
7. Remove cap (16) and the gasket from cover assembly (4).
8. Remove screw (17).
NOTE: Assemble in reverse order.
