Radiator And Guard

Usage:

Remove Radiator And Guard

1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.

2. Disconnect tube assemblies (2) from the radiator.

3. Disconnect braces (1) and (3) from the radiator.

4. Remove overflow hose (4) from the tube. Remove bolts (5) that hold the fan guards (6) in place. Move the fan guards toward the engine until the fan guards are clear of the radiator and guard.

5. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and guard.

6. Disconnect bottom tube assembly (8) from the radiator.

7. Remove two bolts (7) from each side of the radiator that hold the radiator and guard to the stand.

8. Remove radiator and guard (9). The weight is 470 lb. (212 kg).

Install Radiator And Guard

1. Fasten a hoist and put radiator and guard (1) in position on the stand.

2. Install bolts (2) on each side of the radiator and guard that hold it to the stand.

3. Put the gasket in place and connect bottom tube assembly (3) to the bottom of the radiator.

4. Put fan guards (5) in their original positions and install the bolts that hold them in place.

5. Put the gaskets in place and connect tube assemblies (4) to the radiator.

6. Install overflow hose (6).

7. Connect braces (7) to the radiator.

8. Fill the cooling system with coolant. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
