Usage:
3300 Family Of Engines With Scroll Fuel Systems
When replacing the 8N2501 Governor Housing Assembly in the 3300 Family of Engine with Scroll Fuel Systems, it is possible to have an interference between components within the governor or the rack may not move all the way to the "Fuel Off" position. These condition may exist because of casting shifts during the manufacturing process of the governor housing.
To ensure that the governor will function properly, it is necessary to check the assembled dimension for rack lever travel. Special Instruction, SEHS9026, "Check Assembled Dimension for Rack Lever Travel," provides the correct procedure for this check.
