Usage:
D25C, D30C, D350C, D35C, D35HP, D400 Trucks
Description of Change: A new differential group is used on the above articulated dump trucks. The new group has larger, stronger spider and pinion gears to resist failures from sudden impact loads experienced during wheel spin. The new differential group also has coated steel bushings to improve lubrication and reduce wear between the spider and pinion gears.
Adaptable As: The 9C9772 Differential Group is a direct replacement for the former 6W5115 Differential Group which was installed in the trucks listed in Chart A.
Earlier trucks, listed in Chart C, used a 5V1271 Differential Group that had the same size bearing diameters on both ends of the differential case assembly. The 5V1271 Differential Group can be replaced with the new, stronger and larger differential components by ordering the parts lists in Chart B.
