Stronger Spacers Can Be Used On Stabilizer Street Pads {6505}
Usage:
416, 426, 428, 436, 438 Backhoe Loaders
Spacers, made stronger by an increased wall thickness, can be used in place of the 4V6440 Spacers on the stabilizer street pads. The stronger spacers can be fabricated from 25 mm (1.0") diameter, double extra-strong black pipe with 9.09 mm (.358") wall thickness. The black pipe can be cut into 51 mm (2.0") lengths to replace the 4V6440 Spacers. All twelve spacers should be replaced at the same time.
Using 51 mm (2.0") bar stock and drilling a 20 mm (.79") diameter hole for the mounting bolts is another method for fabricating stronger spacers.
The pads with the new spacers should be installed using Grade 8 bolts.
