  1. Install 2 O-rings (2) into oil filter group (1).

    (6) 344-5675 Nut

  2. Attach oil filter group (1) to oil filter group (3) with 4 bolts (4), 8 washers (5), and 4 nuts (6).

Installation Procedure

  1. Remove and set aside the bolt from the offside cover directly above the center shaft for reuse.

  2. Remove and discard the 7 bolts from the offside cover.

  3. Install clip (1) with the original offside cover bolt.

    (T1) 3/ 8-16 guide studs

  4. Install 2 guide studs (T1).

  5. Install bracket (2) onto the 2 guide studs (T1).

  6. Attach bracket (2) to the pump with 4 bolts (3).

  7. Remove the 2 guide studs (T1).

  8. Install the remaining 2 bolts (3).

  9. Attach the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp and the 333-6440 Oil Filter Gp to bracket (2) with 8 bolts (4) and 8 washers (5).

    Note: The oil inlet and outlet need to face towards the power end nose plate (to the right when facing the offside cover).

  10. Install flange (6) and flange cover (10) onto the inlet side of the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp.

    1. Install 1 O-ring (7) with a light coat of grease into each side of flange (6).

    2. Place flange cover (10) over one side of flange (6).

    3. Place the 2 half flanges (8) over flange cover (10).

    4. Attach flange (6), 2 half flanges (8), and flange cover (10) to the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp with 4 bolts (9) and 4 washers (5).

      Note:

    5. Install pressure sensor (11) and 1 O-ring (12) into flange (6).

      Note: The sensor must be downward facing when installed.

  11. Install hose (14) to the outlet side of the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp.

    1. Install 1 half flange (8) loosely to the outlet side of the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp with 2 bolts (13) and 2 washers (5).

    2. Install 1 O-ring (7) with a light coat of grease into the straight end of hose (14).

    3. Slide the straight end hose (14) behind the loosely installed half flange (8).

    4. Install the other half flange (8) loosely to the outlet side of the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp with 2 bolts (13) and 2 washers (5).

      Note: Tighten enough to hold the hose in place.

      Note: Use Loctite® 577 Thread Sealant on all pipe threads.

    5. Install adapter (17) into the 5P-1907 Cross on the power end.

    6. Install 1 O-ring (7) with a light coat of grease into the 90 degree end of hose (14).

    7. Attach hose (14) to adapter (17).

    8. Attach sensor harness (16) to the 333-6438 Oil Filter Gp and the 502-8277 Pump Harness As.

      Note: The longer 544-1664 Sensor Harness As is needed for the PEMS unit that is mounted on the other side of the pump.

    9. Secure sensor harness (16) to the 352-3964 Clip with 1 cable strap (15).
