Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the coupling. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Coupling - Remove and Install".

1. Remove V-belt (1) and bolts (2).

2. Install Tooling (A) and remove remaining bolts (2).

3. Slide damper pulley (3) along Tooling (A).

4. Attach a suitable lifting device onto damper pulley (3). The weight of the damper pulley (3) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Remove damper pulley (3).

5. Slide damper assembly (4) along Tooling (A).

6. Attach a suitable lifting device onto damper assembly (4). The weight of the damper assembly (4) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Remove damper assembly (4).

7. Remove bolts (5) and damper adapter (6).

Installation Procedure

   Install bolts (5) and damper adapter (6).

2. Install Tooling (A) and damper assembly (4) with a suitable lifting device. The weight of the damper assembly (4) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).

3. Attach a suitable lifting device onto damper pulley (3). The weight of damper pulley is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Install damper pulley (3).

4. Install bolts (2).

5. Remove Tooling (A).

6. Torque bolts (2) to a torque of 135 ± 20 N·m (100 ± 15 lb ft).

7. Install V-belt (1) on the engine.
