主泵油流经回转控制阀，被引向端口 (8) 和端口 (12)。
进行向右回转操作时，泵油流入端口 (8)。 随后，机油流过油道 (15) 和油道 (18)。 然后，油进入缸筒内的油道 (20)。
缸筒中的泵油作用在旋转总成 (5) 内的活塞上。 这迫使活塞离开缸筒。 此动作导致旋转总成 (5) 旋转。
进行向左回转操作时，主泵油供应到端口 (12)。 供油口和回油口相反。 缸筒顺时针旋转。
回转马达箱体排油经过排放口 (13) 返回，并流向液压油箱。
