变速箱冷却(一般建议)

由于变矩器打滑、加注泵损失以及转动部件摩擦,自动变速箱会产生热量。 变速箱油液吸收此热量,并需要油冷却器将热量排出。 保持油冷可维持油的润滑性、确保变速箱正常工作和延长变速箱部件的寿命。

发动机冷却液(防冻剂)和变速箱油液(TDTO)吸收发动机和变速箱产生的热量。 两种油液将热量带到热交换器(散热器或冷却器),在此完成机油或防冻剂的冷却。

变矩器冷却

Caterpillar 火车变速箱具有锁定离合器,可减少所有齿轮中变矩器产生的热量。 正常工况下,变速箱将升档和降档到正确的传动比。 此外,变速箱部分工作时间处于变矩器锁定离合器模式下。 锁止离合器可降低变矩器冷却要求。 此操作模式可减少变矩器打滑,降低产生的热量。 应用、环境温度和传送的功率将决定变速箱冷却要求。

工作温度限值

正常(连续)和间歇条件下的最大允许变速箱油温如下:

连续变速箱(泵进口) ... 95 °C (203 °F)

连续变矩器出口 ... 105 °C (221 °F)

间歇变速箱(泵进口) ... 99 °C (210 °F)

间歇变矩器出口 ... 125 °C (257 °F)

最低变速箱启动温度 ... –20 °C (–4 °F)

变速箱过热

尽管发生的可能性低,但一旦变速箱过热,应将变速箱打到空档, 并将发动机转速提高到高怠速,直至变速箱温度恢复到正常工作温度。 将发动机转速升至高怠速使发动机风扇为散热器提供最高空气流量。 此外,较高的发动机转速可使通过冷却器的机油流量最大。

注意

下列表格中的扭矩是基于公制 10.9 级或更高的紧固件 (SAE 8 级或更高等级的英制紧固件)。 使用硬垫圈。 不允许使用开口锁定垫圈。
