Assembly Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. Replace parts that are worn or damaged. Put clean hydraulic oil on the valve parts that move.

2. Replace the O-ring seals on plugs (1), if necessary.

3. Install retainer (2), spring (3), cover (4), plug (5), and two bolts (6) in the valve. Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft).

4. Position stem (7) in the original location on the valve. Install stem (7) .

5. Install retainer (12), spring (11), cover (10), plug (9), and two bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft).

6. Install cartridge assembly (13) in the valve. Tighten to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft).

7. Install coil assembly (16), washer (15), and nut (14). Tighten nut (14) to a torque of 14 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb ft).

End By: Install the dual tilt control valve.
