Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the dual tilt control valve.

1. Remove nut (1), washer (2) and coil assembly (3) from the valve.

2. Remove cartridge assembly (4) from the valve.

3. Inspect O-ring seals and rings (5) on cartridge assembly (4). Replace the O-ring seals and replace the rings, if necessary.

Cover (8) holds springs under compression. To prevent possible personal injury, use caution when the cover is removed.

4. Remove two bolts (6), plug (7), cover (8), spring (9), retainer (10), and stem (11) .

5. Replace O-ring seal (12) on plug (7), if necessary.
