The machine electronic control system electronically controls several functions. The system consists of the machine electronic control module, various switches, sensors, solenoids and alarms. The machine ECM receives input from various switches, sensors, the engine ECM, and the EMS via the CAT data link. This input information is processed by the machine ECM, which then activates the appropriate output or outputs.

The machine ECM controls the following functions:

• Grease Reel (Attachment)

• Hydraulic Demand Fan

• Two Speed Track

• Cooler Blocker

• Prelubrication

• "Hammer/Shear"

• Worktool/Magnet

• Bucket Thumb
