The tightening sequence for the cylinder head bolts follows:
- In a numerical sequence, tighten bolt (1) through bolt (26) .
Torque for bolts ... 270 ± 25 N·m (200 ± 18 lb ft)
- In a numerical sequence, tighten bolt (1) through bolt (26) .
Torque for bolts ... 450 ± 25 N·m (330 ± 18 lb ft)
- In a numerical sequence, again tighten bolt (1) through bolt (26) .
Torque for bolts ... 450 ± 25 N·m (330 ± 18 lb ft)
- In a numerical sequence, tighten nut (27) through nut (39) .
Torque for nuts ... 47 ± 7 N·m (35 ± 5 lb ft)
(40) Tighten the exhaust manifold studs that are in each cylinder head to the following torque. ... 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft)
