Turbocharger Heat Shield

Usage:

Remove Turbocharger Heat Shield (Marine Engines)

1. Drain the engine cooling system. Disconnect the two water outlet lines (2). Remove the four top mounting bolts (1).

2. Remove the air cleaner housing support braces mounting bolts (3), and swing braces away from shield. Disconnect the two heat shield water inlet lines (4).

3. Remove the four bottom shield mounting bolts, and remove the turbocharger heat shield-weight 35 lb. (16 kg).

Install Turbocharger Heat Shield (Marine Engines)

1. Position the heat shield on engine, and install the four top mounting bolts and four bottom mounting bolts.

2. Connect the water inlet lines to the shield. Position air cleaner housing support braces, and install mounting bolts.

3. Connect the water outlet lines to shield. Fill the engine cooling system.
