Changes have been made to add three additional part numbers and a step about updating the radiator group, if needed.

Description of Change: The new aftercooler core assembly is an aluminum bar plate core designed for extended service life with reinforced tanks. The new aftercooler core assembly will improve service life and minimize the thermal stress.

The new 396-9735 Aftercooler Core As with extended service life replaces the former 274-7831 Aftercooler Core As in the 177-9085 Air Aftercooler Gp.

The new aftercooler core assembly (1) is adaptable to the machines B9K1-639 and effective in production with the machines B9K640-UP.

Procedure to update seals in the radiator group:

If the machine has a 276-2386 Radiator Gp, a portion of the 300-1707 Coolant Tank As (7) will need to be removed. Refer to the steps below.

1. Remove dimension (A) from the edge of the flat part of the expansion tank next to the ATAAC. Refer to Illustration 3.

2. Install two seals (2), one seal (5), and three radiator seals (6) .
