Truck Payload - Configure

Usage:

The following information describes the service operation of the Truck Payload Configuration.

Note: The service operation is used in order to configure the maximum payload weight of the truck and the last pass indicator.

Security

  1. This service program code only functions while the service tool (VIMSpc) is connected.

  2. After the service tool (VIMSpc) is disconnected for 30 seconds, this service program code will no longer be active.

Procedure

  1. Stop the truck and verify that the body of the truck is empty.

  2. Navigate to the Truck Payload Configuration menu. Press the "OK" key in order to continue. The message area will show the target payload weight.

  3. Press the "OK" button in order to set the desired weight.

  4. Press the "OK" button in order to accept the value that is shown on the message Display.

  5. Press the "Down" button in order to show:

    Note: "YES" might also show as a "NO". To enable the LAST PASS indication, press the "OK" button. Pressing the "OK" button will toggle the LAST PASS indicator from "NO" to "YES". The continuous flashing of the RED payload status lamps indicates that the truck is waiting for the last pass of the loading tool. The last pass indicates that the VIMS loader payload system has estimated that the next pass is greater than 90 percent of the selected target weight.

  6. Press the "OK" button in order to accept the selection. Press the "Down" button in order to show:

  7. Press the "OK" button in order to set the desired percentage. The overload limit is adjustable from "105%" to "120%". The default setting is "0%".

  8. Press the "OK" button in order to accept the selection.
