Valve lifters
Usage:
Remove & Install Valve lifters
Start By:
a. remove rocker shaft assembly & push rods
1. Install Tool (A) and remove the valve lifter.
NOTE: Repeat Step 1 for the remainder of the valve lifters.
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the valve lifters.

Install new guide springs on the valve lifters any time the lifters are removed from the engine. |
NOTE: Lubricate the push rod ball & socket and lifter bore with clean engine oil prior to installation.
2. Install Tool (A) on the valve lifter.
3. Guide the valve lifter into position.
