Usage:
1. Disconnect alternator wires.
2. Loosen the alternator mounting bolts (3) and adjustment screw nuts (2). Remove alternator drive belts.
3. Remove the adjustment block retaining bolt (1) and the alternator mounting bolts (3). Remove the alternator.
4. Remove the two fuel priming pump mounting bolts (6).
5. Remove the alternator mounting bracket bolt (5) and bracket.
6. Remove the adjustment screw mounting bracket (4).
Install Alternator And Mount
1. Install the adjustment screw mounting bracket and the alternator mounting bracket.
2. Install the fuel priming pump mounting bolts.
3. Install the alternator and mounting bolts.
4. Install the alternator drive belts. Adjust the bolts so that when 25 lbs. (11,3 kg) pressure is applied midway between the pulleys, it will deflect the belt 1/2" to 3/4" (12,7 to 19,1 mm) on new belts and 7/8" (22,1 mm) on used belts.
5. Connect alternator wires.
