Usage:
1. On engines equipped with a damper, remove the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt and pull the pulley out approximately .375 in. (9.5 mm) using a 5F7465 Puller Assembly, 8B7560 Step Plate, two 5M2894 Washers, and two S1571 Bolts. This step is not necessary on engines with pulley only.
2. Remove front support-to-frame retaining bolts (1).
ENGINE FRONT SUPPORT
1. Bolts (two). 2. Bolts (four). 3. Engine front support.
3. Raise the front of the engine 1 in. (25.4 mm) and block under the engine.

Never support the engine by placing blocking under the oil pan. Damage to the oil pan or suction bell will result. |
4. Remove front support-to-engine retaining bolts (2).
5. Remove front support (3).
Install Engine Front Support
1. Position front support on engine and install front support-to-engine retaining bolts.
2. Remove blocking from under engine and lower the engine.
3. Install front support-to-frame retaining bolts.
4. Install front pulley. Install front pulley retaining bolt and washer. Tighten front pulley retaining bolt to 265 ± 35 lb. ft. (36.6 ± 4.8 mkg).
