NOTE: | This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI32614" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32614" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The hardware for the centershift lock needs to be updated on certain 12M3, 14M, 120M2, and 140M3 Motor Graders. The existing bolts can be below the specified torque due to the installation of incorrect washers during machine assembly. |

Machine Preparation 1. Park machine on a level surface. If necessary to park on a grade, chock the wheels securely. 2. Engage the parking brake. 3. Lower work tools to the ground. 4. Ensure that the centershift lock is in the fully engaged position. 5. Stop the engine. Machine Rework Replace the current washer at the centershift lock cylinder mounting connections to the frame (reference picture) with the 198-4780 washer. Loosen and re-torque bolts one at a time to enable the centershift lock cylinder to remain in the correct position during rework.
