NOTE: | This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI32652" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32652" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The engine oil pump needs to be replaced on certain 773E, 773G, 775G, and 777G Off-Highway Trucks. The existing engine oil pump may fail which may cause low oil pressure or no oil pressure. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Note: Inspect the date code of the replacement engine oil pump. If the date code is from 40501 through 50215, do not install the pump. Refer to Image 1 and Image 2. Oil pump must be replaced. If required refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, Machine Engine Supplement for the machine being reworked, to gain access to engine oil pan. Step 1: Identify proper Disassembly and Assembly Manual for engine that rework will be performed. 3408 and 3412 Engines for Caterpillar Built Machines SENR1013 C27 and C32 Engines for Caterpillar Built Machines RENR9217 / UENR3350 Step 2: If required drain engine oil. Refer to "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" in Operation and Maintenance Manual for machine being reworked. Ensure to store the oil in containers for future use. Step 3: Remove engine oil pan, refer to "Engine Oil Pan - Remove and Install" section of Disassembly and Assembly Manual. Step 4: Inspect the date code of the engine oil pump that is currently installed. If the date code is from 40501 through 50215, go to Step 5. If the date code is not from 40501 through 50215, go to Step 7. Step 5: Remove oil pump, refer to "Engine Oil Pump - Remove" section of Disassembly and Assembly Manual. Step 6: Install new oil pump, refer to "Engine Oil Pump - Install" section of Disassembly and Assembly Manual. Note: The Foundry Code, Date Code, and Serial Number of both pumps, the pump being removed and the pump being installed, must be recorded to be included in the claim story. Refer to Image 1. The claim will not be paid without this information. Example: Removed: FH / 50110 / 022215 2067 Installed FH / 60890 / 033316 3056 Step 7: Install oil pan, refer to "Engine Oil Pan - Install" section of Disassembly and Assembly Manual. Step 8: If necessary fill with engine oil. Refer to "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" in Operation and Maintenance Manual for machine being reworked. If required refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, Machine Engine Supplement for the machine being reworked, to install any iron removed during engine rework. |
