Engine coolant temperatures can decrease very quickly while idling on certain 795F AC and 795F XQ Off-Highway Trucks. The coolant temperature can decrease from 185 degrees Fahrenheit to nearly 150 degrees Fahrenheit in a matter of minutes; engine performance may be affected. This condition is exacerbated when the air conditioning system is switched ON and the fan is turning at its minimum speed.
Overcooling can be experienced in ambient temperatures as high as 70 degrees Fahrenheit, although the condition is most prevalent at temperatures just above freezing when the air conditioning is activated for defrosting/defogging the windshield. |

In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 11% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
|
