PROBLEM
The 227-5088 Hose on certain AP-1055B Asphalt Pavers may not be made to the correct specifications. The existing hose needs to be replaced with a new 268-6725 Hose to prevent failures.AFFECTED PRODUCT

The 227-5088 Hose on products listed below may not be made to the correct specifications. The existing hose needs to be replaced with a new 268-6725 Hose to prevent failures.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated February 25, 2005 when scheduling this service. You will not be charged for the service performed.
