The saw drive shaft assembly needs to be replaced on certain HF181, HF201, HF202, HF221 and HF222 Felling Heads. The bearings may spin on the saw drive shaft causing excessive endplay of the saw disc, or the drive shaft may crack. These failure modes will lead to vibration and/or saw drive shaft breakage. An improved design saw drive shaft assembly is available for installation on felling heads to prevent damage to the saw.AFFECTED PRODUCT
