NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI30006" as the Part number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code.Exception:If the repair is done after failure, use "PI30006" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
NOTE: Although this program must administered as described above whenever it is applicable it must be implemented in conjunction with the April 18, 2000 Service Letter, PI30012, "A New Operation And Maintenance Manual Is Required And/Or New Park Brake Control Logic And Transmission Gear Selection Needs To Be Installed On Certain D350E II And D400E II Articulated Trucks" if it has not already been completed.

Service brake slack adjusters require replacing on certain D350E II and D400E II Articulated Trucks. The slack adjusters may have been subjected to moisture prior to installation and internal components may be rusted. This may lead to brake dragging in certain applications.
NOTE: The April 18, 2000 Service Letter PI30012 must be implemented at the same time as this program if they have not been completed previously. Check the machine history folder before filing a claim for this program.

Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.
Action Required
Refer to the Service Manual as required.
Service brake slack adjusters are installed on the front and center axles.
Replace both 169-3655 Slack Adjuster Groups.
Reconnect the service brake lines and reinstall the original bleed ports in both units.
Bleed both front and center axle brake systems, refer to the Testing and Adjusting portion of the Service Manual module SENR9144 for procedure to carry out this operation.
