PROCEDURE TO CHANGE TO EXTENDED LIFE COOLANT
Procedure:
1. Drain the coolant from the machine into a suitable container.
2. Fill the cooling system with clean water and enough cooling system cleaner to create a mixture of 6% to 10% cleaner. Use the tables above to determine the required amount of cleaner and the part numbers for the required amount of cleaner.
3. Start the engine. Run the engine for 90 minutes on working rpm's.
4. Stop the engine. Drain the cleaning solution into a suitable container.
5. With a stopped engine, flush the cooling system with water. Flush the system until the draining water is clear.
6. Add the required amount of extended life coolant for your machine. Use the tables above to determine the required amount of coolant and the part numbers for the required amount of coolant.
7. Start the engine. Run the engine until the coolant level stabilizes, adding coolant as necessary.
