Camshaft - Remove and Install

Start By:

  1. Remove camshaft gear.

  2. Remove rocker arm and shaft.

  1. Remove camshaft (1) from the cylinder head being careful not to damage the camshaft lobes or the camshaft bearings.

Installation Procedure

  1. Apply Tooling (A) to the face of the camshaft bearings and the camshaft races prior to installation.

  2. Install camshaft (1) in the reverse order of removal.
