集成温度感应模块（ITSM）监测测量发动机废气温度的热电偶。 ITSM 计算发动机每一排的废气温度平均值。 温度通过 Cat 数据链路传送给其它模块使用。
热电偶测量每个气缸排气口的温度。 为了观察热电偶输出值，使用 Caterpillar 电子技师（ET）查看 "#X 气缸排气口"。 "X"为具体气缸编号。
在每个涡轮增压器涡轮废气的进口安装有一个热电偶。 为了观察热电偶输出值，使用 Cat ET 查看"左排涡轮进口温度"或"右排涡轮进口温度"。
在每个涡轮增压器涡轮废气的出口安装有一个热电偶。 为了观察热电偶输出值，使用 Cat ET 查看"左排涡轮出口温度"或"右排涡轮出口温度"。
下列状况可能激活警报或关停。 可以通过 Cat ET 对激发点进行编程设定。
- 温度高于编程设定的极限值。
- 温度低于编程设定的极限值。
- 某气缸的温度远远偏离所有气缸的平均温度。
