NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3605" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T " as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3605" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The left hand battery needs to be rotated 180 degrees on certain D4H, D4H LGP, and D4H XL Tractors to provide clearance for the battery terminals.

Rework Procedure
1. Disconnect the battery terminal on the left hand battery.
2. Remove the 8G5635 and 8G5617 Battery covers.
3. After the covers are removed, loosen all battery cable hold down clamps. Refer to Illustration 1.
4. Loosen the 6T1832 Angle that holds the left hand battery in place, and remove the battery.

5. Pull the negative cable of the left hand battery to obtain enough slack to connect the cable to the negative post of the battery once the battery is rotated 180 degrees from its original position. Refer to Illustration 2.
6. Install the battery with the posts rotated 180 degrees from their original position. Refer to Illustration 2.
7. Route the battery cables, positioning the battery cable hold down clamps as necessary so that the cables do not rub on any corners or sharp edges.
8. Connect the battery cable terminal to the correct battery posts. Refer to Illustration 2.
9. Install the battery covers
