NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0676" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Parts Stock
Remove all 4P5433, 7E3879 and 0R3403 Compressor Assemblies with serial numbers indicating manufacturing dates prior to January, 1993, and all 7E9918 and 1003043 Repair Kits with date codes prior to January, 1993 from parts stock.
NOTE: Compressors have a date code consisting of a letter, four numbers and another letter. The first letter indicates the month (A = January, B = February, etc. The supplier did not use the letter "I", so September is a "J", October is a "K", November is a "L", and December is an "M". The last two numbers indicate the year. For example, an air compressor with a serial number of "B2392T" was manufactured in February of 1992.
Repair kits have a tag with five numbers. The first two numbers indicate the month, and the second two numbers indicate the year of manufacture. For example, a repair kit with a date code of "12927" on its tag was manufactured in December of 1992.
Affected Product
If the air compressor fails, remove the cylinder head and inspect the top of the piston for damage. If the piston is not damaged, replace the cylinder head. If the piston has been damaged, replace the compressor.

Submit one claim for all 4P5433, 7E3879 and 0R3403 Compressor Assemblies, and all 7E9918 and 1003043 Repair Kits removed from parts stock.
NOTE: U.S. and Canadian Dealers Only - Submit a parts stock claim using 99Z00001 in the Product Identification Number field.
Affected Product
NOTE: Replacing the air compressor is an 1.5-hour job. If the air compressor cylinder head is replaced, instead of the entire air compressor, claim for an additional hour of labor.
Parts Disposition
U.S. And Canadian Dealers
Return all 4P5433 and 7E3879 Compressor Assemblies, and all 7E9918 and 1003043 Repair Kits removed from parts stock to the address below. Also, if a failed air compressor assembly is replaced with a new air compressor assembly, return the failed air compressor assembly to the address below. When returning components to the address below, include a copy of the warranty claim for the items returned.

Return all 0R3403 Compressor Assemblies removed from parts stock to the address below. Also, if a failed air compressor assembly is replaced with a 0R3403 Compressor Assembly, return the failed air compressor assembly to the address below. When returning an air compressor assembly to the address below, return it in the normal manner for remanufactured cores.
